Leadership

Leadership is an important skill for all roles within an organisation- not just for managers. This course will help you to become a more successful leader within your own role and practice. You will learn to improve your communication and decision-making skills, manage conflict and build an effective implementation team.

The course is part of CDI’s Quality Services, Better Outcomes training series.

Who is it for?

Management, frontline staff and volunteers in not-for-profit and statutory family and child services.

What will I learn?

At the end of the Leadership short course, you will:

Know about:          Various leadership styles and their effectiveness;

Understand:           The importance of effective leadership in your work;

Be able to:                Recognise your own leadership style and identify areas for development.

The course also complements the other courses in our QSBO series – Logic Modelling; Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation; Reflective Practice; Organisational Context and Change Management; Capacity and Competence Building; Needs Assessment; and Evaluation in More Depth.
