Logic Modelling

The next CDI Logic Modelling course takes place on Friday, December 6th 2019.

A Logic Model is a popular approach and tool used to clarify and plan an intervention. Its can help you clearly identify the change you want to achieve and how you can achieve it. It also provides a foundation for implementation planning and monitoring and evaluation.

The course is part of CDI’s Quality Services, Better Outcomes training series.

Who is it for?

Individuals and services that work with children and families. Whether you are new to Logic Modelling or already use a Logic Model or equivalent approach (such as the logical framework, results framework, theory of change), this course will support you to develop your skills in defining outcomes at various levels and the strategies to meet them.

What will I learn?

At the end of the Logic Modelling short course, you will:

Know about:          The function and components of a Logic Model and Theory of Change;

Understand:           The relationship between their different functions and components;

Be able to:                Develop and use a Logic Model for programme implementation and learning.

The course also provides a strong foundation for the upcoming QSBO courses –  Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (book here) and Evaluation in More Depth (due 2020).
