CDI Wins Communications Award

The Tallaght based Childhood Development Initiative (CDI) has won a top award for its communications at this years Public Relations Institute of Ireland industry awards.

CDI received its Award from An Taoiseach Enda Kenny at a gala awards ceremony.

CDI, working together with the agency Cavanagh Communications, won the title of Best Corporate Communication in Support of Organisational Values.

Presenting the Awards, entrepreneur and Dragon’s Den judge Gavin Duffy said: ‘CDI’s work showed a focus on gaining real support from the local community to bring the initiative to the next level; clear, positive social benefits and potential for long term significance; active leadership and measurable results.’

CDI CEO Marian Quinn said CDI was delighted to receive the award. “I am grateful to our Communications Coordinator Ronan Cavanagh and the Chair of the Communications Committee Tommy Cooke for their hard work,” she said.
